Location of the "Convenience Store":
I still can't believe I FINALLY found the filming location of the"CONVENIENCE STORE"!!
The store itself was a generic, one-story shack labeled "CONVENIENCE STORE" and outfitted with a pair of gas pumps. Its exact location was indeterminate, as it could apparently appear and disappear in an erratic manner.
The stairs on the right side of the building did not lead to an upper floor, instead, those who mounted them traveled to an interior space described as being "above" the store. Several woodsmen appeared to act as guardians or chaperones for visitors to the convenience store.
Dear Meadow Mountain:
This is the back drop of Olallie Peak, (Dear Meadow mountain) seen in Fire Walk With Me located just behind the Dear Meadow Sheriff's Department most notably the location where Sam Stanley asks Chet Desmond, "You're going back to the Fat Trout Trailer park because of the blue rose aren't you?
Dear Meadow Sheriff's Department:
This is home to Sheriff Cable and his deputies, it appears on the surface to be a set, but is actually a small home in Ollalie State Park.
Cable and Desmond's fight scene from FWWM the missing pieces:
This is the shed where Sheriff Cable and agent Desmond have their bout behind the station in the missing pieces from Fire Walk With Me.
Wind River:
The filming location for Wind River, where the body of Teresa Banks is seen floating along the shoreline.
Our Journey to Jack Rabbits Palace:
Hawk, Truman, Deputy Sheriffs Bobby Briggs and Andy Brennan head to the woods.
Briefly, we see electrical wires amongst the natural landscape. Crackling. Those evil spirits everywhere, the symbolic evil of modern man set in juxtaposition against the natural, green beauty of the world.
In they head together, through the bush...
Jack Rabbits Palace:
...Bobby talks about his father, his connection to this place up in the forest: Jack Rabbit’s Palace. It’s a huge, ragged stump of a massive tree. A place of memories from Bobby’s younger life. Everyone puts a bit of soil in their pockets, as per the note left...
...And just beyond Jack Rabbits Palace:
...Further on they find a foggy place, electricity sparking. Suddenly there appears a naked woman, her face and eyes just brutal wounds. Isn’t she the one we saw in that strange place ages ago, in that odd industrial-like landscape where Cooper passed through? That other spot beyond the Black Lodge? Above our friends a cyclone appears, like the one Gordon witnessed. Electricity again crackles through its portal opening. They all look deep into it. A bright light burning.
Jerry Horne's Tree:
This is the tree that Jerry Horne is sitting upon, smoking a joint and watching Dr. AMP on his computer. The calm before his very long, prolonged derangement of the senses to obtain the unknown.
I Am Not Your Foot??:
This is the location where Jerry Horne, high as can be, hears his foot telling him that in fact, is not his foot!
Steven Burnett Suicide Tree:
In the woods of Twin Peaks, Becky’s drugged out husband Steven is freaking out and presumably shoots himself in the head. That’s a hell of a bad trip, and it looks like trailer park owner Carl Rodd might be the one who eventually recovers the body.
Cooper Walks with Laura Through The Woods:
This is the location where in the 2nd to the last part of season 3, Cooper is walking through the woods with Laura and she disappears.
The Dutchman’s / The Red Diamond City Motel:
Ray told Evil Coop in Part 13 that Phillip Jeffries could be found at “The Dutchman’s, but it’s not a real place.” Evil Coop walks up the stairway to nowhere at the "CONVENIENCE STORE" (Gordon had a vision of in this Part 11) and then finally walks out into the parking lot of the Red Diamond Motel. The Red Diamond City Motel is the Mount Si Motel. Seen in Fire Walk With Me where Leland Palmer goes to meet up with call girl Teresa Banks and "some of her friends" to party with, not realizing that his daughter is one of those girls!
MIRIAM SULLIVAN CRAWLS OUT OF THE WOODS:
This is the location from the beginning of part 11, season 3 where the 3 young boys are playing catch and see Miriam Sullivan's bloody and beaten body crawling out of the woods. Miriam's survival brings us one step closer to Richard Horne getting busted by the cops!
Big Ed's New Gas Farm:
I am uncertain why the original location of Big Ed's gas farm was not used in the new season however, here we have the new location. Looks a bit more like a gas station than the original location.
CARL'S BENCH:
This is the bench seen in the 6th part of the new Twin Peaks were Carl Rodd is sitting smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee just before the car accident.
MIKES CHEVY DEALERSHIP:
This is the Chevy dealership where Mike works in season 3. This is where Mike tells Steven he is losing potential employment due to his inability to create a proper résumé and fill out forms.
NADINE'S RUN SILENT RUN DRAPES STORE:
Here we have Nadine Hurley's Run Silent Run Drapes store. Nadine got her silent curtain rod business, and her golden shovel too!
TWEDE’S CAFE, AKA THE DOUBLE R DINER:
Twede's Cafe, (The Double R Diner) in North Bend, WA.
"This is where pies must go when they die!" (We can stop at the R&R Diner for a couple quick pictures if you like but won't have time for coffee and pie on this tour. Eating at the diner is offered in tour option 1 or 3.)
"This Would Look Nice On Your Wall":
This is where we see the old woman and the little boy with the mask walk across the street to give Laura Palmer the picture for her bedroom wall.
The New Fat Trout Trailer Park:
Here we have the new Fat Trout trailer park. All sorts of mischief happening here!
Richards field:
This is the field where Richard Horne drives in and stops to wipe the kids blood off of the grill of the truck shortly after running him over.
Richard Horne Runs Over The Kid /One Armed Man Confronts Leland Palmer Intersection / Mo's Motor:
In the film Fire Walk With Me, we see this spot when Leland and Laura are stopped at a light and have their run in with the One Armed Man. This is ALSO the location in the new Twin Peaks, part 6 where the little boy gets hit by the truck driven by Richard Horne.
Meadowbrook bridge, aka One lane bridge:
This is the bridge Cooper and Laura drive over in the final episode on their way to Laura's house.
The Smoke Stack From Part 1 Of Season 3:
This appears to be the lone remaining smoke stack from the Packard saw mill.
THE TWIN PEAKS SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:
The Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department is currently home to Dirtfish Rally School.
THE FAT TROUT TRAILER PARK:
This is the location where the Fat Trout Trailer Park from Fire Walk With Me once stood. Sad to say it was torn down in 2011 however there is still one key element that remains!
Elk's Point #9 Bar:
This is the location where Sarah Palmer goes to enjoy a Bloody Mary and is propositioned and insulted by a trucker and in turn rips out the man's jugular with her teeth. "It's a real mystery isn't it?"
THE SALISH LODGE, AKA THE GREAT NORTHERN HOTEL:
The Salish Lodge, (The Great Northern) is a beautiful location to visit as it sits atop the Snoqualmie Falls.
THE FALLS:
The Snoqualmie Falls (White Tail Falls) has got to be one of the most iconic and breath taking locations used in the show.
